History: XGovernmentCars.com was started in 1999. While building wheelchair accessible vans, we started getting police interceptors from local police departments. By 2001 the website -www.XGovernmentCars.com was launched to show customers our inventory. This increased sales to upwards of 150 vehicles per year, by 2004 that number was up to 250 vehicles or more per year. This means we have a flow of vehicles, never keeping more then 20 vehicles in stock at any given time.
Now in 2010 we have upgraded our website to offer easier viewing and high quality pictures, we hope these changes will help you make your decision to purchase a police interceptor or other vehicle

#2. They have lots of idol time? - False - *Most newer units have hour meters in them and officers are under orders to shut them down when not in use. departments have installed quick release plug-ins block heaters for units outside the stations.
#3 The are gas guzzlers? - False - *They are rated at 18 City and 25 Hwy, we find they get even higher then that (usually 27 Hwy) better then ANY SUV on the road today !!
#4. They all have super high miles? - False - *Our vehicles range from 60,000 to 120,000 Miles
most under 100K. (this is just getting started for a Police Interceptor, known to get 400K)
#5 The parts are more expensive? - False - They are in-fact usually lower priced then civilian models.
Bonus myth:They have the "chip" removed? - False - Actually most units do not even get a chip installed. These units have more than enough power to do the job.
